Starting Out

Dani was walking along the path towards the lab. Today was a big day. She was finally going to get her first Pokemon and start her Pokemon journey. She had plenty of battle experience running the gym with her family. But none of those Pokemon were any of her own. She had never developed a bond with those Pokemon. They had just been tools for battle.

Dani soon came across the Pokemon Center. She knew the lab must be close by. She hurried along, making her way behind the hospital. The first thing she saw was the old abandoned house. Wow, she wondered who had lived there. Dani smiled when she saw the lab next to the house. She scurried up the stairs and walked in. "Hello? I'm here for a Pokemon!" she called.

There it was, the first trainer in a while.Trainers didn't come around that often, but it didn't mean they weren't ready. "Hello! Welcome to the lab of our great Aura Hallow region! Please take a form and fill it out and give it to me." Stammered out a little boy ready to do whatever he needed to, to get that prize said to go to the person of the month.

Dani smiled as she took the form from the boy. She knew exactly which Pokemon she wanted. She quickly filled the sheet out before handing it back. She couldn't help but grin. This was so exciting!

"Okay, one Meowth, and prize Pokémon. I'll be right back." And he strolled off into a big room with a giant PokéBall as a door handle. A few seconds he came back out with a small bag. He handed the girl the bag and a list. "Please sign here and your ready to go!" He said laying the contence of the bag across the table.
